WARNING;
USE ONLY MAXI-VAC REPLACEMENT PARTS. SUBSTITUTE PARTS VOID THE
WARRANTY, JEOPARDIZE OPERATOR SAFETY, AND ADVERSELY AFFECT ENGINEERED
PERFORMANCE LEVELS.
LIMITED
WARRANTY
Machines
are warranted by Maxi-Vac, Inc. to the original purchaser
against defects in material and workmanship for a period of
one year from the date of purchase and is not transferable.
This warranty does not apply to rental applications. The warranty
period for units in rental service is 90 days.
WHAT IS COVERED: Replacement parts and labor.
WHAT IS NOT COVERED: This warranty does not include such
parts as hoses or nozzles which must be replaced as part of
normal maintenance of the equipment, rather than as the result
of a defect. Electrical cords which are cut, pulled loose
from machine and G.F.C.I. plugs that fail because of mishandling
are not covered by the warranty. Transportation charges to
Maxi-Vac for defective products. Transportation charges to
return repaired products. Damages caused by abuse, accident,
improper repair, or failure to perform normal maintenance.
Use of improper chemicals or noncompliance with the operator's
manuals instructions. Sales outside of the United States and
Canada. Any other expense including consequential damages,
incidental damages, or incidental expenses, including damage
to property. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation
of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation
or exclusion may not apply to you. This warranty does not
cover defects resulting from failure to observe any of the
following conditions:
1)
The inlet water pressure must be between 20 and 60 p.s.i.
2) The inlet water temperature must not exceed 140°F.If
your unit has a thermal relief valve, excess heat will cause
valve to open. This prevents pump damage; but, valves are
not covered by warranty.
3) The unit must not be run "dry"without inlet
water.
4) Do not run for more than five (5) minutes, with
the gun in the closed position.
5) Do not store in areas where temperatures drop below
32°F.
6) Inlet water filter and chemical filter must remain
in place.
FLEXIBLE
SHAFT - LIMITED WARRANTY
Maxi-Vac
manufactured flexible shafts are warranted by Maxi-Vac, Inc.
to the original user, against defects in materials and workmanship
for a period of 30 days after date of purchase from a Maxi-Vac
distributor.
What
is Covered: This warranty covers loose or non-functioning
end couplers and machine adapters and clean breaks in the
flexible core that would indicate a mechanical weakness in
the original core.
What
is Not Covered: This warranty does not cover cuts, nicks,
abrasions, slices and/or holes in the outer casing. This warranty
does not cover kinks or permanent bends in the shaft, nor
failure of couplers, core, or casing caused by such kinks
and bends. This warranty does not cover the twisting type
failures of a core which is caused by excess speed/excess
torque and/or oversized brushes or cutting tools for conditions.
This
warranty does not guarantee a useful life of the shaft. Our
only obligation shall be, at our option, to repair or replace
the defective component(s) or make a suitable adjustment for
such defect(s) upon timely notification thereof, provided
the unit has been used, maintained and handled in accordance
with Maxi-Vac's Operating Instructions.
HOW
TO OBTAIN WARRANTY SERVICE: Simply return the unit to
your Maxi-Vac dealer, along with proof of date of purchase.
The dealer will return the unit, with your proof of date of
purchase to the Service Department, Maxi-Vac, transportation
charges prepaid.
To
the extent any provision of this warranty is prohibited by
federal, state, or municipal law, and cannot be preempted,
it shall not be applicable. This warranty gives you specific
rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from
state to state.
