Model KVLD
3000
The
vacuum leak tester KVLD-3000 is a simple method used
by manufacturers and maintenance technicians to identify
leaky tubes in chillers, condensers and similar tubular
exchangers. It is a fast and economical way of identifying
tubes for plugging or replacement. Compressed air
flows through a venturi chamber, producing a vacuum
in the tested tube. A steady gauge reading indicates
a good tube. A falling reading on the gauge indicates
a leaking tube. A 3/4” x 20 BWG tube, 20 feet
long, can be tested in 5-6 seconds.
