Maxi-Vac has carefully designed the JM 1800
with operator safety and equipment reliability in
mind. The unit is powered by a D.C. (Permanent Magnet)
motor, combined with a solid state speed control.
This allows the operator to select rotational speeds
from 0 to 1800 RPM with constant torque. Thus, the
operator can handle the shaft and tools at a safe
comfortable speed for the condition of the tubes
being cleaned. This feature cannot be offered on
units with A.C. motors and constant high RPM'S.

The JM 1800 R incorporates all the features of
the JM 1800 plus a reversible rotating shaft and
two direction foot switch to permit clockwise
rotation entering tubes and counter clockwise
rotation for exiting.

Cleaners with Universal Shaft Couplers
Maxi-Vac offers our variable speed and variable
speed reversible Tube Cleaners with a shaft coupler
designed to accept flexible shafts of the style offered
by Goodway Tool, Wilson, and others. These machines
have been added to Maxi-Vac's line to accommodate users
who prefer Maxi-Vac's constant torque/variable speed
features; yet, may have existing machines and/or flexible
shafts produced by one of the other manufacturers, and
do not wish to mix styles, or obsolete their existing
shafts. Use Maxi-Vac 1900 series flexible shafts with
these units. |
