Hi-Pressure Washers
Technical Information
Special Features
The following section explain the features of Maxi-Vac's
Hi-Pressure Washers. Studying these features can aid in the selection of the proper equipment for the desired tasks.

Models P1100, P1250 with Total Stop System
(TSS*)
Italian made, economically priced, electric pressure washers designed for intermittent to medium duty applications.
TSS - Units are equipped with a patented system which shuts the motor down when the trigger is released. This prevents over heating of pump, extends pump/valve life.
Chemicals are applied by means of a chemical applicator which couples directly to the trigger gun/lance. No harmful chemicals go through the pump.
Will siphon water from a container.
Both Units have 35 foot power cords and GFCI plugs.
A/C Cleaning Kits are available to lower output pressure, shorten gun/lance length, and provide siphon hose
* Release the trigger, the motor stops! Squeeze the trigger, the motor starts! This prevents overheating of the motor/pump while the unit is in by pass, lengthens pump life, reduces repairs.

Models - JS400 and 5000B
Compact, lightweight pressure washers, ideal for limited duty applications such as cleaning air conditioning coils, vents, hoods, and other items where higher pressure and water flow is not desired. Soaps/chemicals applied at hi-pressure thru a suction hose and thru the pump. This means soap-or cleaner-must be premixed and drawn from a bucket. The unit will not mix soap and water. Strong acid and caustic cleaners can damage the pump. American made.

Models - JS700I, 1300I, 1500I, JS2200I, JS3000I
These larger units have many special features that make them ideal for commercial/industrial applications with maximum flexibility.

Pressure Regulating/Unloader Valves:
This Feature allows the operator to select the desired operating pressure from 0 to the maximum designed pressure for the unit by simply turning a knob on the machine. Higher pressures for stubborn/heavier tasks - lower pressures for more delicate tasks. These "Unloader Valves" also reduce unnecessary wear on the motor and pump. When the trigger is released and no water is spraying, the valves, "unload" the pressure in the pump to "0". This reduces wear on the system and lengthens pump and motor life.

Soap/Chemical Application.
All models include an Injector to allow controlled measured application of soaps or chemicals. Controlled by a simple push-pull motion on the barrel of the nozzle, pressure is changed from low to high. At low pressure, soap can be applied with the water - allowing the soap or chemical to stay on the surface and do its job. At high pressure, only clear water is being sprayed to rinse and clean. Since the Injector is located on the "High-Pressure" side of the pump, no chemicals pass through the pump - lengthening pump life. The Injector is adjustable so that the ratio of soap to water can be changed from "0" to about a 10% soap mix, depending on the viscosity of the soap/chemical.

Adjustable Nozzles:
All models are equipped with a "Hi-Lo" Nozzle which offers maximum versatility in that the operator can apply cleaners at low pressure - or - rinse at high pressure, by a simple push-pull adjustment on the nozzle. Also, by rotating the barrel of the nozzle, the spray pattern can be changed from 0° (for maximum penetration and power) to any desired fan shaped pattern.

Rugged Construction:
All fittings are brass. All housing components are heavy gauge steel, phosphate treated to reduce rust, powder coated, and baked at 400° F for maximum durability. All parts are field repairable/replaceable. Model 1300I has a high impact plastic housing.
