Reversible Direct Drive Tube Cleaner

Cleaning internally enhanced tubes is made easier by our Direct Drive Reversible JM1900R. The JM1900R incorporates all the features of the JM1900 plus a reversible rotating shaft and two directional foot switch to permit clockwise rotation for entrering tubes and counterclockwise rotation for exiting. JM1900 has a standard 2” threaded connection to the Flexible Shaft instead of the Quick Connect. The unit is powered by an 1800 RPM D.C. (Permanent Magnet) motor, direct drive combined with a solid state speed control. This allows the operator to select Reversible rotational speeds from 0 to 1800 RPM with constant torque.

Thus, the operator can handle the shaft and tools at a safe comfortable speed for the condition of the tubes being cleaned. This feature cannot be offered on units with A.C. motors and constant high RPM'S. Tubes are left clean and free of energy absorbing build-ups of scale, algae, mud, etc. Operation of the machine is controlled by a reversing air actuated foot switch, just step on the switch pedal and the shaft rotates while water flows through the watertight nylon Flexible Shaft casing to the brush or cutting tool. While a tool rotates through the tube at up to 1800 RPM, driven by a flexible shaft, water flushes out loosened deposits.    

Recommended for Heat Exchangers, Condensers, Evaporators, Absorption Machines, Chillers and other internal tubes.
